Program
Day 1: arrival in Havana and transfer to Casa Privada (private house) or hotel
Day 2: Havana Classic City Tour (Malecon, 5th avenue, Jaimanitas (mosaic), Cementerio Colon (cemetary dating the days of Columbus), Plaza de la Revolucion, callejon de Hamel (alley painted by a santeria artist), guided walk in Habana Vieja (the historical centre), lunch in la Imprenta and afternoon at leasure
Day 3: The tour starts today, with private car and driver. We will visit Viñales, visit the mural de la Prehistoria (painted mountain), visit Cueva del Indio where we will make a boattrip in an underground river. The lunch will be in El Paraiso (an agro-eco restaurant) from where we visit Vega de Tabaco and the mirador van Los Jazmines. We will drive to the orchid garden Soroa and end our trip in Las Terrazas at our hotel in de mountains.
Day 4: After breakfast you can make a walk (excursion Serafina) throug nature and enjoy the ruins and nature. Lunch will be in restaurant Casa del Campesino. After lunch you wil vist the house of Polo Montanez, a very famous Cuban musician who unfortunately died in a car accident 3 years after being discovered.
Day 5: After breakfast you will leave for Santa Clara, the city of Che Guevarra, where you will visit the mausoleum of, Che Guevarra. Lunch will be in a local restaurant. After the lunch you will visit Trinidad via Manaca Iznaga (watch-tower) and sugar cane valley. In the evening you will enjoy live music and dance in casa de la Trova. (380 kms)
Day 6: After breakfast you will leave for the centre of the city where you will visit the plaza Mayor, the museum of Romance, the Cathedral, we will stroll through alleys, walk by handicraft stands and drink local drinks in bar Canchanchara.
Day 7: After an early breakfast we will leave for the El Nicho falls, where we will walk with a local guid en can enjoy the water under the falls. Lunch will be in a local restaurant. After lunch we will leave for Cienfuegos, visit Teatro Tomas Terry and Palacio del Valle and return to Havana. Arrival in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Free time untill departure to the airport of Havana. (25 kms)
