Multi-Day tour: 3 Days Brownsberg and Ston Island

With a three-day tour, explore the fresh tropical rainforest on Brownsberg and the warm Ston Eiland in the reservoir behind the Afobakka dam. From the top of Brownsberg, we hike to a viewpoint over the treetops and the reservoir. We listen to forest sounds, admire the lush vegetation and giant trees and also try to spot animals, which can be a challenge in the jungle! Along steep paths, we descend to the falls. On Ston Eiland, we will relax, swim, kayak or fish and we will take a forest walk through a completely different environment! The view of the wide reservoir is unique.

Day 1
At 8:00 am, we leave Paramaribo for Brownsberg. We walk to the viewing point, and after lunch to the falls. We spend the night in a hammock with mosquito net.

Day 2
We get up early to enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast, we leave for Ston Eiland, where you can swim, kayak and fish. Here we sleep in rooms with beds.

Day 3
After a short forest walk, you can go for a swim and after lunch we head for Paramaribo.

Duration: 3 days

Includes: transport, guide, accommodation, all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and fruit.

Bring your own: Sturdy walking shoes, flip flops, cap or sun hat, swimming gear, towel, rain gear, toiletries, insect repellent, sunscreen, flashlight, passport or ID, backpack, clothes, Suriname dollars.
