San Francisco is the fourth city of Californië with as highlights the world famous Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, the isle which was used as a prison from 1934 till 1963.
This impressive city is situated on the west coast of the USA. It is the biggest city of Califonia and the second largest city of the USA. There are many places of interest, like the Universal Studios, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the many exclusive shopping malls. You will visit the famous shopping mall Camarillo.
Las Vegas is situates in the state of Nevada and is best known for the extravagant hotels and casinos where you can try your luck 24/7. You can also find many shopping malls and restaurants in Las Vegas and off corse the Grand Canyon.
Program
DAY 1, Today The Coast to Coast ‘Grand’ USA tour will start today. You will leave Suriname with Copa Airlines by Panama for JFK airport in New York.
DAY 2 You will arrive in New York in the early morning and brought to your hotel in Manhattan where you have direct acces to. At 14.00 h you will have a sightseeing tour of 4 hours in New York City. Including Uptown and Dowtown. You will have the evening free.
DAY 3 You will leave a tour to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Isle at the Liberty State Park. After the tour you will leave for the airport for you flight to San Francisco. You will be brought to your hotel in San Francisco .
DAY 4 The tour starts at Fisherman’s Wharf with a cruise to the world famous Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge. Next your will vist Union Square, a 11.000 m2 square with shops, hotels, theaters, ‘China Town’ and the famous Nob Hill neighbourhood. The tour ends with a ‘Nightview’ on the Bay Bridge. You will stay in the city of Modesto (California) for the night.
DAY 5 Today you will visit Yosemite National Park, Sierra Nevada, El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls (Yosemite National Park). You will stay in a hotel in Fresno.
DAY 6 After breakfast, you will leave for Monterrey and the world famous ‘17 mile drive’ (part of route 1), you will drive on the Pacific Coast Highway 1 to the city of Carmel. Next you will visit Solvang, an extraordinay Danish community where your can visit the local shops. The next stop will be Santa Barbara. Then we will leave for the Stevenson Ranch were we stay overnight.
DAY 7 After breakfast we will leave for Los Angelos a sightseeing tour of 5 hours to e.g. Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Bel Air. You will be brought to your hotel after the tour where you will stay for the night.
DAY 8 After breakfast you will travel to the Gambling Capital ‘Las Vegas’. Lunch will be in the outlet mall Barstow, where off corse you can also shop. In the eveing there will be a sightseeing tour to the ‘Strip’. The evening will end at one of het many shows and casino’s (eentrance fees excluded). You will stay in Las Vegas for the night.
DAY 9 There will be a sightseeing tour in Las Vegas and surrounding after breakfast with e.g. a visit to the Navajo Indian Reservate, the South Bank Grand Canyon and several Indian markets where you can see there handcrafts. You will stay in Las Vegas for the night.
DAY 10 After breakfast you will leave for Los Angelos. You will make a stop at the Santa Monica dock where you can shop. You will stay for the night in Los Angelos.
DAY 11 You will checkout after breakfast and leave your suitcases in the special lugage room of the hotel. Then you will leave for the famouw shopping mall Camarillo. In the early evening you will brought to the airport for your return trip to Suriname by Panama with Copa Airlines.
DAY 12 You will arrive in Suriname on the 23th of september in the afternoon.
